At Rodarte “It’s Maori–meets–L.A.–gang,” as said makeup artist James Kaliardos of the temporary sleeve-style tattoos. At Chanel Peter Philip made replicas of the jewelry-like tattoos. At LV latest men show the famous monogram was tattoed on the neck and the hands of the models.

In March issues of US and French Vogue two warrior inspired pictorials caught my attention. The first one, shooted by David Sims, with Daria Werbowy in the main role, depicts a story of an amazon warrior in the jungle. Tribal printed dresses and Rodarte inspired tattoos.

After the color block trend of 2009, the neutral one of 2010 seem a little bit boring. But when the color is limitted, other attributes stand out - design with various cuts and ornaments, mixing of neutral hues, accents from other trends - power shoulders, studs, zips and straps.

The name "khaki" comes from Hindustani language and means "dusty". Khaki uniforms were comonly used by British troops and later on spread worldwide as the most typical military color. With the coming military trend, khaki is back as one of the season's top colors.
