Baseball caps are no longer an element inherent only to the subculture of extreme athletes and fans of hip hop, as it takes a more prominent position in streetstyle, even in women's collections (for which we thank sincerely to our beloved Riccardo Tisci:) Combinations with baseball caps range from а contrast to ultrafeminine and sexy outfits (as seen in Givenchy Fall 2011 and Prefall 2012 collections), an emphasis in eclectic streetstyle combinations (as in the examples of Tommy Ton) to outfits inspired by sports fashion (especially when combined with a varsity jacket). Apparently today all love baseball caps - Trashy yellow shows some really great hats by Deryck Todd, and U-lica – an example from the streets of Sofia for a pretty decent streetstyle with a baseball cap.
