Probably Yvo succeeded at biggest extent to synthesize the essence of our Sunday weekend inspiration: “Mariya is one of those deeply inspirational and respecting people, who the simpler wear, the more stylish look, challenging indirectly your sense of guilt, that you has overdone with clothing compared to them." Part of you know her as the owner of one of the most progressive second hand shops in Sofia – ecru, others know her as the woman behind the blog Sheer white tee. The style of Mariya is plain and ostensibly effortless, but with that attention to materials, details, cuts and quality, which lend charm, class and attitude.

For this weekend I’ve prepared a fresh dose of holiday inspiration from two very special ladies. Today I’m presenting to you Alya, who is a very interesting and artistic lady with sophisticated and quite coherent style. I personally regard her style as models off duty style – in fact she always has reminded me of Freja or Agness, not only with her beautiful face and androgynous body, but with the easiness of looking effortlessly cool and stylish to the very last detail.

За този уикенд съм се погрижила да намерите свежа доза празнично вдъхновениe от две много специални дами. Дами, които до голяма степен осмислят заглавието на блога, че „Вдъхновението съществува”. Днес ви представям Аля, която е изключително интересна и артиситична личност с изтънчен, кохеретен стил с винтидж привкус. Finally some days off work - really was overloaded these days, no Xmas spirit at all. Still hoping that tommorrow everything would come at its right place. This outfit is from last weekend when was much colder and snowy. With these DC high tops and my new Parfois fur/houndstooth hat I felt more than comfy, still couldn't overcome the feeling of wearing sneakers more often, not high heels all day long.

Най-накрая няколко дни далеч от работа - наистина бях засипана със задачи последните седмици и имам нужда от почивка. Като почти всяка година коледният дух ме е подминал, но този път и коледната депресия също. Този аутфит е от уикенда, когато беше доста по-студено и снеговито - най-накрая подходящо време за високите ми кецове DC и новата шапка от Parfois. Чувствах се доста уютно, топло и удобно и все пак не мога да се настроя да нося кецове по-често. И не защото не ми харесват, а защото съм пристрастена към високия ток :)

"You know, I think as you get older, the snake is more chic than the leopard"

The recent 90th-anniversary issue of French Vogue describes thoroughly everything that Carine Roitfeld stood for the last 10 years: a very modern idea of French chic, which is classy, but edgy and exciting."It's 10 years that I'm editor of the magazine," Roitfeld told the New York Times "I think it's time to do something different." The rumours for the future link her to Tom Ford, her friend and long-time collaborator. In the 1990s when Ford took over at Gucci, Roitfeld was his muse and stylist, playing a crucial role in returning the brand into a cutting-edge luxury label. This autumn, Ford exhibited his first women's wear collection in years.

"When everything is good, maybe I think it's the time to do something else." The March issue is likely to be her last in Paris Vogue, where most hope she would be replaced by Emmannuelle Alt (fingers crossed).

For the record, this season Roitfeld is hankering after a black, belted, slightly military coat, just below the knee; a black cape — “not too fantastical”; and a velvet pencil skirt (“always on the knee, no one has ever designed the perfect velvet pencil skirt”).

Easy like Sunday morning

Sorry for the lack of regular outfit posts lately, but I've been quite busy recently and haven't had enough time for my kind of posts. I'll try to catch up the coming holiday week, hope there's more inspiration to enlighten me as winter is not my favorite time of the year. This is one of my fav outfits recently, love the combination between the cape and the shorts, their warm caramel color and the smooth leather details.

Coat on

The winter is finally here, it's inevitable to put my coat on. This one I bought two years ago from Greece in one of those one-day-crazy shopping trips with my friend Boryana. Back then there was no Zara, Bershka or Stradivarius in Sofia, so we were travelling miles to put our hands on some precious pieces. And most of the time we had just two or three hours to browse the stores and choose the main items for the season. It's strange but though those were hectic buyings, later on each one of them proved its value and place in my wardrobe.

Зимата е най-накрая тук и колкото и да не ми е приятноо дойде време за палта. Истината е, че до последно избягвам да слагам палта, предпочитам наслояванията или комбинациите вълна-кожа, но неминуемо идва момента, когато единствено палтото може да те предпази от студа навън. Това палтенце купих преди две години от Гърция при едно от онези еднодневнии налудничави шопинг трипчета, които предприемахме с моята приятелка Боряна.По това време нямаше Zara, Bershka или Stradivarius в София и пътувахме километри, за да прекараме два-три часа по магазините и да си закупим всичко необходимо за сезона. Странно е, че въпреки факта, че цялото пазаруване бе толкова хаотично, стресиращо, подчинено на първоначалната емоция, впоследствие почти всички покупки доказаха своята стойност и място в гардероба. Понякога днес дори ми липсват тези моменти и тази тръпка...

Once again inspired

When I bought that cape last week didn't have a clear idea how would I wear it, but I knew it is a great piece. Now it is certainly the most inspirational piece in my wardrobe and I'm impatient to try some Chloe inspired combinations this weekend.

След мисия „Скандинавия” на Боряна ви представям поредното северняшко излъчване с още по-скандинавски стил. Венета балансира визията си с горещ темперамент, изключително любим рижав цвят на косата и пънк минало. Ето защо стилът и представлява еклектична смесица от скандинавски минимализъм в най-чистата му форма, пънк шик и собствени творчески проекти (като дръжката на чантата на снимката). От скоро Венета има собствен блог, който горещо ви препоръчвам.

Какво те вдъхнови за избора? Това, което ме вдъхновява този сезон е кожата. Обожавам кожата, харесвам много комбинацията й с по-груби и по-нежни материи.
Дрехата, която преоткри тази есен (нещо старо от гардероба): Дрехата, която преоткрих са кожените панталони. Този сезон си купих от ebay 2 чифта! Обичах да нося тесни кожени панталони в разцвета на пънкарските си години. Радвам се, че отново се върнах към тях. В тях се чувствам наистина "в кожата си".
Дрехата, на която не успя да устоиш (ново попълнение): Не успях да устоя на манията с животинските шарки. Открих, че в съвсем малко количество идеално се вписват като акцент в минималистичния ми стил.

After Scandinavia mission by Boryana, today I would like to present you another Northern inspired vision with Scandinavian style. Veneta balances her cold vision with hot temper, favorite ginger haircolor and punk past. Inspiration behind (What inspired you for this look?): Leather is what inspires me this season. I adore leather, especially combined with more rough or gentle textiles.
The item you’ve rediscovered this fall (something old): I rediscovered the leather pants. This season I bought two from ebay. I used to wear tight leather pants in my punk years and I’m happy to be back to them. They make me feel in my own skin.
The item you fell in love and couldn’t resist buying (something new): I couldn’t resist animal print mania. I found that a small quantity is a perfect accent of my minimalistic style.
The item on the top of your Holiday fashion list: Again shoes by Camilla Skovgaard, a version of my pumps, covered with suede leather. Also I want badly one of the Burberry Prorsum neon patent leather bags.

Боряна е моя очарователна и много близка приятелка, с която сме вършили какви ли не шопинг подвизи (и не само:) Ние сме страхотен тандем с рядко срещана хармония, като обикновено тя е по-умерената и балансирана част, което се отразява и върху нейния стил. Като архитект Боряна обича правия ъгъл и геометричните форми и залага на забележителни аксесоари или ярки цветни петна за акцент.

Какво те вдъхнови за избора? Дължината на жилетката е малко под коляното. Така тя осъществява директен контакт с чорапите (без пауза). Двете по отделно определено не предполагат шантавата симбиоза, в която направо заспаха. Обожавам да съчетавам смело десени и цветове и да изненадвам приятно с резултата. Правя го и по себе си, и в дома си, и с проектите си. Белите ръкави се сработват чудесно с русите коси в мисия Скандинавия, а хъскито на врата ме отвява направо в Лапландия.

Boryana is my charming and very close friend, my partner in a lot of shopping adventures (and not only shopping ones.) We are a great tandem with rare harmony and usually she is the more balanced and moderate, which can be observed in her style too. As an architect Boryana loves the right angle and the geometrical shapes and accents on beautiful accessories or unexpected color splashes.

Inspiration behind (What inspired you for this look?): The length of the cardigan is just under the knee and contacts directly with the socks (without interruption). The two if taken apart could not suggest what a crazy symbiosis would turn together. I adore combining patterns and colors and to surprise myself with the result. I try it on myself, on my home and in my projects. The white sleeves match perfectly with the blonde hair in mission Scandinavia and the “husky” on my neck blows me away to Lapland.
The item you’ve rediscovered this fall (something old): Ear muffs.
The item you fell in love and couldn’t resist buying (something new): This sheer dotted turtleneck from Zara, which matches beautifully with pearls.

One year later

One year later:
• On this day a year ago I started Inspiration exists as a place, where I could gather impressions and inspiration, where I could run when I’m discouraged and lost faith in the surrounding reality and where I could find my daily dose of beauty and esthetics. It began as my own undertaking and didn’t share it with anybody for a month or two. Until I convinced myself that it has purpose and until it became a part of me.
• The main idea behind the blog was that inspiration doesn’t come like this, but a hard and strenuous work is required. The deeper you dive in the world of fashion, the more infinite it seems, but at the same time you absorb from its magic.
• Though I started it as a one man show, the blog has always been a place for interaction and I’m happy for the growing number of readers and followers. Even happier I am with so many new friends and with more and more Bulgarian fashion bloggers.
• Apart from developing my graphic skills, the blog changed me indirectly from quite skeptical and critical attitude to positive and encouraging. I overcame my own limits to begin liking the different and the odd, while at the same time I started to experiment and make fun of my style more.
• Still I have three “failures” for this year:

1) I haven’t stepped into a second hand shop. For me the clothing is a personal experience and every person leaves it charge on his clothes. Still preferring to seek for vintage treasures in my family wardrobe.
2) I haven’t done online shopping. Not only because of security concerns, but because you can feel the relation with one item only live.
3) Shopping abstention turned to be a mission impossible.

Една година по-късно:
• Точно преди една година на този ден създадох Inspiration exists като място, където да събирам впечатления и вдъхновение, където да бягам, когато съм обезверена и обезсърчена от заобикалящата ме действителност и където да получавам ежедневната си доза от красота и естетика. Започнах го като лично мое начинание и не го споделих с никой първия месец –два. Докато не се убедих, че има смисъл и докато не стана част от мен.
• Основната идея зад блога бе, че вдъхновението не идва просто така, а е нужна упорита и постоянна работа в определена посока. Колкото по-надълбоко навлизаш в света на модата, толкова повече осъзнаваш необятността му, но същевременно и попиваш от него.
• Въпреки че го започнах като One man show, блогът винаги е преди всичко място на интеракция и съм щастлива от увеличаващия се брой на хора, които го посещават и коментират. Още по-щастлива ме правят приятелствата, които завързах покрай него и факта, че българските блогъри стават все повече.
• Колкото и странно да е, освен че разви моите графични способности, блогът индиректно ме промени и от изключително критичен човек се превърнах в човек, който се опитва да намери положителната страна на нещата. Преодолях мои вътрешни граници, за да харесам различното и нестандартното, а така и самата аз започнах да експериментирам и да се забавлявам със стила си в много по-голяма степен.
• Все пак имам и три „неуспеха”:
1)Не успях да се пречупя и да вляза в магазин за втора употреба. За мен дрехата е лично изживяване и всеки оставя по някакъв заряд от себе си върху дрехите, които носи. В този смисъл, въпреки че съзнавам какви разкошни попадения пропускам, предпочитам да се заровя в съкровищата в домашния гардероб.
2)Все още не съм дръзнала да пазарувам онлайн. Не толкова от съображения за сигурност, колкото отново от идеята, че връзката с дрехата може да бъде усетена само на живо.
3) Шопинг въздържанието се оказа mission impossible.

December 2010
1) Celine inspired cape – one of the most inspirational outerwear items from Celine Resort 2010 has been interpreted by different brands. Still I put my hands on a perfect piece from Zara collection.
2) Cool: Wool! – tonight, 19h., Ivan Asen 22.
3) The 2010 Vice Photo Show – till 8th December, Sklada Gallery.
4) Kate Moss returns to the pages of Vogue Italia in sexy pin-up inspired looks, photographed by Nick Knight.
5) Shopping abstention – two months behind, less than one month left, I should admit that this is one of the hardest challenges. The strangest thing is that I could give up smoking, eating meat, eating chocolate and biscuits, drinking coca cola, but I am not half decisive when it comes to shopping, especially when something special strikes me.
6) Favorite blog this month – the last month of the year, let’s try to experiment more with colors. Yvo presented a colorful week, full of ideas, check it out!
7) Christmas time - beginning of sales :)
8) Nine West boots, my boots! - seems that my November wish boots from Zara will not come. Those are a perfect substitute.

10) Daria Werbowy, lensed by Mikael Jansson, for the 2011 calendar for Vogue Paris - bare skin and Louis Vuitton gems, what else do we need?

Декември 2010 г.
1) Пелерина, вдъхновена от Celine – една от най-вдъхновяващите връхни дрехи последните сезони от колекцията Celine Resort 2010 бе интерпретирана от различни марки, но аз попаднах на разкошно подобие от колекция на Zara. Тези дни ще ви я представя.
2) Cool: Wool! – изложба на млади модни таланти на Иван Асен 22, откриване днес от 19ч.
3) The 2010 Vice Photo Show – до 8 декември в галерия „Склада”.
4) Завръщането на Кейт Мос на страниците на италианския Вог с ретро pin-up фотосесия на Ник Найт.
5) Шопинг въздържание – след два месеца зад гърба и един напред, трябва да призная, че това се оказа едно от най-трудните изпитания. С лекота мога да се откажа от месо, цигари, сладкиши и шоколад дори, но когато се стигне до шопинг решимостта ми се изпарява, особено когато попадна на нещо интересно и изгодно.
6) Любим блог този месец – нека да се опитаме да експериментираме повече с цветовете през последния месец в годината. Иво представи чудесна цветна седмица, изпълнена с идеи, може да я видите тук!
7) Коледа - началото на разпродажбите :)
8) Nine West боти, моите боти! След като ботите от Zara в ноемврийския ми списък явно няма да бъдат заредени в софийските магазини, се насочих към тези техни достойни заместители.
9) Идея за подарък – дънков елек с каракул от Mango.
10) Дария Вербови пред обектива на Майкъл Янсен за календара 2011 г. на Вог Париж – гола кожа и бижута на Louis Vuitton, от какво повече имаме нужда?
